We are always on the lookout for new collaborations, we currently have the following three active projects in the association: Mjollnir, a hybrid rocket with a goal of reaching over 10km. Eitr, a liquid bipropellant rocket engine project. Freyja, a hybrid rocket aiming to compete in the 3km hybrid category at EuRoC 2024. (More information for each project can be found on our website, aesir.se) Would you like to reach out to us and learn more about possibilities in working with us? If so, do not hesitate to contact us via email at contact@aesir.se! 🚀

ÆSIR is the biggest student rocketry team in Sweden, based at KTH, Stockholm. We design, build and launch rockets.
About us
ÆSIR - Association of Engineering Students in Rocketry. We are a student rocketry association based at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, in Stockholm, Sweden. ÆSIR was established in 2016 to provide a forum for students with an interest in rocketry and space, where they can develop and share their passion and knowledge in real space projects. ÆSIR's goal is to educate students in rocketry and practical engineering while giving the members real world engineering experience, preparing for their future careers. Also, ÆSIR aims to break to student rocket world record in altitude. ÆSIR has succesfully launched 3 rockets, with a record of 3384m in altitude. We have participated in international competitions, and currenlty have two upcoming rocket laucnhes. Contact us as contact@aesir.se for collaborations and sponsorships! We are in full motion in Freyja project, and the propulsion team is making fast progress. Last week we had the honor to meet with Swagelok Sweden, which has a broad expertise in plumbing and pressurized systems. It is necessary to have strong and reliable valves that can handle the pressure (no puns intended) and have good and durable plumbing to ensure the Nitrous Oxide flows smoothly. It was a clear choice to choose Swagelok as they had every part we needed for our pressurization system, a knowledgeable team to help us find the best-fit models, and a world-renowned reputation for the quality and reliability we wanted to count on when building our propulsion system - from plumbing and valves to fittings and connections. 🚀⭐️ #rocketry #studentrocketry #kth #kthuniversity #engineering #aerospace #aerospaceengineering #rocket #euroc #aesir

On Friday morning, Fredrik Andersson and I got to spend a few hours at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with members of the Association of Engineering Students in Rocketry (AESIR). It was so cool to see these literal rocket scientists try to explain their project to us on a level we could understand, then see Fredrik jump in with his expertise to try to solve a challenge in their fluid system design. I asked a thousand questions, I thought about going back to school myself (until I heard the story of the all-nighter spent manipulating rocket fuel 😖), and I did not have to stage this photo! Those are genuine smiles from these brilliant, enthusiastic students digging into the Swagelok catalog 😄🚀
